Leaning Tower: We serve pizza the old-fashioned way using what is known as a "stone deck oven", and compliment our pizza with other menu items such as sandwiches, homemade onion rings, and pasta dishes. We use only the highest quality ingredients in our food - such as Grande Cheese, fresh cut vegetables, and homemade recipes. Voted Ankeny's best pizza 2005, 2006, and 2007.

The Leaning Tower atmosphere has a very small town-ish feel, with a small, outdated dining area that's usually not very clean.
Other than the pizza, which is pretty consistently good - the menu is barely worth mentioning. Appetizers from the freezer, salads are plain iceberg lettuce, etc.
The service is never outstanding, and often horrible. They under-staff the place, and the servers they have are typically high school kids who don't know what they're doing. The last time we went there, the service was so slow we ended up leaving before anybody could get around to taking our order.
The ideal meal at Leaning Tower is to call in your order and take the pizza home to eat.
