Sammie Jacks - Closed Location: Located just south of Drake University on Cottage Grove. They have great sandwiches, ribs, and smoked sausage. Listen to the blues and eat a little lunch. Plus saying "Sammie Jacks" is just plain fun.

This place is a great little barbecue restaurant. The menu is written on a chalkboard and has a great assortment of items to choose from ribs, pulled pork, brisket, and chicken. In the summer it is nice to sit out on the patio and eat lunch.
