Shanes Rib Shack...its gonna get messy. Shane is not about flash, he is about food. He is about family, community and darn good food. So much so that he quit his highfalutin corporate job, dusted off Big Dad’s (Shanes grandfather) secret recipe and enlisted his own family to make a dream come true. And that is how every Shanes Rib Shack restaurant is run: as a family, for families. OK, and for anyone else looking for some great BBQ. But it is a family place, through and through. Shane and Big Dad used to travel the country together visiting relatives and they spent lots of time talking. A frequent topic was living a happy life. Do what you love to do, do it better than anyone else. Now, family is family. But like most people, at one time or another, they needed a break from the in-laws. So they found another way to be around without having to be around (if you know what we mean): BBQ. Countless hours creating, refining, perfecting.

Unquestionably the best BBQ in town. Wow is their sauce delicious, and the ribs are awesome. Best pulled pork I've ever eaten. And real sweet tea, and fried okra, and green beans, and collard greens, I feel like I'm back home in SC! It's not the closest to my house by a long shot, but it's worth the drive. nod I must say I don't love the Texas toast (a little flimsy for the amount of meat), but they always let me sub a bun instead.

Tried it last week, Chicken Tenders are very tasty if a little dry. I had the sampler platter, was disappointed with ribs, very little meat on them. Also found the to be pricey. Agree with the sauce being good though, i could have drank that by the cup
