Claxons Smokehouse & Grill: Claxons has championship BBQ with hand cut steaks grilled over hickory and oak. We also have fish and pasta, something for everyone. Casual atmosphere. Three of us visited Claxons for the first time last night and had a wonderful dinner. My friends chose the Pulled Pork and Burnt End Sandwich. They both commented on the flavor/smokiness of the meat. I got to try a sample and it was fantastic. I had to try Joes Tenderloin sandwich- my understanding is the Joe has been making this sandwich for over 20 years. I think it is by far the best tenderloin I have ever had. The 12oz loin was pounded to about a half inch, lightly seasoned, and breaded. The other stars of the night included the Spicy Pub Pickles and the Baked Beans. I will be making another trip soon to try the ribs and brisket. The service was great.
